Please reach us at medicalmilemassage@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
When you book a service, we reserve a specific time with the qualified therapist and the room for your treatment—not showing up for your service affects not only our therapist but also our other clients trying to get in for appointments. We are a small business and have limited treatment rooms. Canceling the same day or morning of your appointment means you will be financially responsible for the reserved service's partial or full payment.
Our cancellation policy: First late cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice or no-show is subject to 50% of a scheduled service fee. No show/no call will be billed at 100% of the scheduled service fee.
Please call us at 616.356.1805 if you need to cancel your service. If it is after hours and you need to cancel, there is a number to call or text on the voicemail recording. You can also cancel by emailing us at medicalmilemassage@gmail.com.
Yes! We have handicap access.
Yes, we can accommodate your sensitivities. Please advise your therapist when making your appointment for any special needs.
It would be best if you undressed to your level of comfort. For a full-body massage, most get completely undressed. However, if you will be more comfortable during the session leaving your underwear on, that is fine. The therapist will work around the clothes you left on as best as they can. If removing all your clothes makes you too nervous and unable to relax, you cannot get the optimal benefit from the session. Your massage therapist will step out of the room to give you privacy to undress and get comfortable on the table.
There are a few conditions that would prevent you from enjoying massage. You should not book a massage if you have a fever, cold/flu, virus, or contagious skin infection.
There are many other conditions in which your therapist may need to adapt their techniques (i.e., arthritis or osteoporosis) or avoid an area completely (i.e., cuts or burns). It is a good idea to get approval from your physician for some conditions before you receive a massage (cancer, certain heart conditions, pregnancy). But it’s always better to be cautious.
Your therapist can advise you about your specific needs.
Tips are never expected but always appreciated. If you have received exceptional service and would like to show your appreciation to the therapist, the average tip ranges between 10-25%
